Frozen Tundra Walk In The Marsh

I’m waiting for Floki to catch up!

Hi! Otis here! Floki and I were so excited and thankful that Momma and PawPaw decided that the ice was frozen enough in the Marsh to go on our first winter walk of this season. Zoe, really wanted to come but she feels safer to stay by the house and wait for us to come back.

Now, ATTACK! (10 second video)

Thanks for stoppin’ by and we’ll talk to ya real soon!

  1. Wow, they sure can jump…and run! Hope they can get out before spring, the coldness you get there must be brutal. We were about 5F last night…cold but we have seen -20F, Brrr! (Not yet this year…thankfully, though it is good when the cold kills off some of the ‘bad bugs’ we don’t want n our yard.)

    1. Yes, I’m not sure how they learned to jump so high! It’s the windchill that’s bad we are like -5 or -10 in the windchill but inland they were -30. That is what I love about a good deep freeze, it’s like a renewal!

  2. WOWZERS….running and jumping around in the snow……I’m a “snow weinie” (Mom says) because I don’t like the feeling of snow on my paws. I spent an hour trying to find a place SOMEWHERE in my yard that wasn’t snow covered. Couldn’t……so I came inside and warmed up!

    Hugs, Teddy

    1. It takes some getting used to, Teddy. Otis and Floki are extremely adventurous. Now, our dear Zoe, she will go out in the snow but not too far and then she goes back in by the fire to warm up while we go out and explore. Momma’s not really sure how we avoid getting frost bite.
